Hey guys, have you wondered why there are so many things going on in Fern Lounge? eg. Baking of cookies, balloon making....



Well, I have done some digging around and found out some things which i am gonna share about.



The person who is in charge of these activities is Mr Samuel. He mentioned that he is employed by the school to organise these types of activities to engage the secondary ones and twos in this type of activity. He will be here organising these activities for about 20 more weeks every monday and thursday from two to four.



How does this relate to FernLounge? Our school counsellor asked the FernLounge Metamorphosis team to be in charge of publicising to the secondary ones and twos about this programme in the fernlounge. This will be a job to be done by the publicity group so they must think of a way on how to publicise.



Whats next on this Thursday? BANANA CAKE! Be sure to visit the ms grapevine on Thursday to learn how to make a Banana cake....

Exams are over, people. Now, please contribute to the fern lounge in one way or another. There are a few problems that the fern lounge faces.
1) For the biology team, you need to clear up the tank as it is very dirty. also top up the water and buy the tortoise/fish food.
2) For the discipline group. As there are new members for this group, you have to be more efficient than before. think of ways to tell the sec ones as they are always not returning the games to their original places etc.
3) For the admin/logistic group, there are some spoilt furniture. Try to fix, if cannot then do up a proposal to replace it. Also, the games pieces are not placed at their respective places. Keep a record of the "playable" games and "non-playable" places.
4) Lastly, the fern lounge is in a mess. All members please expect that there will be a spring cleaning some where near term 2 week 2. there will be a meeting on term 2 week 1 and please think of wat we can discuss. the admin team, do up a meeting agenda asap.

HEHE.Long time never post liao.ICs are slacking like hell.So an overall update.....

1)2E4 is taking up the fern lounge as from 2010 onwards.......

This is but old news haha,But anyway,just post here lah.I guess this thing will affect quite a lot of people as some of them are not quite keen on leaving 1e4,and some people are not familar with 2e4 yet.So lets cross our fingers and hope no one crys......

It is important for people of their own class must bond with their own class,so please say this

2)Herbs and spice project
I dunno how this idea came up but FL will be planting herbs or spice.
Aim:This will help people to know how plants really look like as usually people usually see/eat the final product.

For example,
Potato.You only know what a potato looks like but do you know how the whole plant looks like?(plus leaves,stem.etc)Most people,99% will say no.

Well,in case you dont know,there are some sweet potato plants in the Eco-garden and are easily recognisable by their purpurlish leaves and how they crawl all over the ground.For potato,the leaves are green and have a slightly different shape leaves.

P.s i not really sure whether can plant anything other than spice......

3)Groups for the Herbs and spice group
This I don't know the groupings yet but for your info, every group will have like four or five people and they a group will choose a plant to grow.Please choose plants that will SURVIVE!hehehe
