For next week Monday and Thursday, we are gonna host a Lollipop Flower making session with an external vendor. I think most people dunno what is a Lollipop Flower (I not so sure also), so I guessed from some descriptions they provided.



My guess should be accurate: Buying lollipops and decorating them to make them look like a nice flower.



This is a good programmed because it can build students entreprenearship skills as well as let them take a break from their studies.



I also asked Dorothy and Ramitha to annouce it to the school on Monday.



For your info, a non-decorated lollipop will sell for about 40 cents while a decorated one will sell for about $1- $1.50.

Hey guys, have you wondered why there are so many things going on in Fern Lounge? eg. Baking of cookies, balloon making....



Well, I have done some digging around and found out some things which i am gonna share about.



The person who is in charge of these activities is Mr Samuel. He mentioned that he is employed by the school to organise these types of activities to engage the secondary ones and twos in this type of activity. He will be here organising these activities for about 20 more weeks every monday and thursday from two to four.



How does this relate to FernLounge? Our school counsellor asked the FernLounge Metamorphosis team to be in charge of publicising to the secondary ones and twos about this programme in the fernlounge. This will be a job to be done by the publicity group so they must think of a way on how to publicise.



Whats next on this Thursday? BANANA CAKE! Be sure to visit the ms grapevine on Thursday to learn how to make a Banana cake....

Exams are over, people. Now, please contribute to the fern lounge in one way or another. There are a few problems that the fern lounge faces.
1) For the biology team, you need to clear up the tank as it is very dirty. also top up the water and buy the tortoise/fish food.
2) For the discipline group. As there are new members for this group, you have to be more efficient than before. think of ways to tell the sec ones as they are always not returning the games to their original places etc.
3) For the admin/logistic group, there are some spoilt furniture. Try to fix, if cannot then do up a proposal to replace it. Also, the games pieces are not placed at their respective places. Keep a record of the "playable" games and "non-playable" places.
4) Lastly, the fern lounge is in a mess. All members please expect that there will be a spring cleaning some where near term 2 week 2. there will be a meeting on term 2 week 1 and please think of wat we can discuss. the admin team, do up a meeting agenda asap.
